Continuing on the ESCAP supported project to strengthen the CRVS system of Pakistan, a series of workshop on the essentials of national CRVS system is organized throughout the country.

Since the beginning of the Asia-Pacific CRVS Decade, multiple countries in the region have embarked on using civil registration records for the production of vital statistics reports, which is one of the targets of the Regional Action Framework on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific.
