The CRVS community in Asia and the Pacific has reflected on where it stands at the midpoint of the CRVS Decade (2015-2024) during the Second Ministerial Conference. Following this celebration of progress, many of our partners and member countries are leading actions to fill the remaining gaps. Associated with each of the three goals of the CRVS Decade, is a series of specific targets that countries are expected to set and achieve. The targets are designed to enable monitoring and evaluation in ways that are objective, efficient, technically sound and time bound during the CRVS Decade 2015 to 2024.
This Toolkit helps interested States assess and improve their national civil registration system in order to record all of the births, deaths and marriages that occur in their territory among refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons and persons of undetermined nationality.
