On 18 March 2020, Pakistan's Technical Support Unit in the Ministry of Planning Development & Special Initiatives will host a Seminar on "Mainstreaming Primary Health Care in CRVS".
Within the last five years, almost all Pacific Island countries and territories (PICTs) have undertaken an assessment of the civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) system with support from the Brisbane Accord Group (BAG), under the framework of the Pacific Vital Statistics Action Plan (PVSAP). The assessments were conducted using the World Health Organization (WHO) CRVS Comprehensive Assessment Tool.

Building on their first vital statistics report published in 2017 as part of a project funded by the Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health Initiative implemented by ESCAP, Georgia published a new vital statistics report in 2019. It was prepared by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat) with the help of the Civil Registry Agency and the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. The report discusses the quality and availability of data, and analyzes the demographical trends.
