    The Ministerial Declaration on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific emphasizes the need to address CRVS inequalities among hard-to-reach and marginalized populations, promoting universality and equity in civil registration regardless of factors such as gender, religion, or ethnicity. Countries are encouraged to conduct assessments to assess where such inequalities may exist.

2nd capacity building workshop on "Implementing Inequality Assessments and Strengthening Demographic Analysis Capacity on CRVS in Bangladesh"

The workshop represents another step in Bangladesh's journey toward strengthening the stakeholders' capacity to generate vital statistics and demographic indicators using CRVS and SVRS data. It aligns with global goals, addresses disparities, and prepares the nation for effective responses to health crises.

Population Registers, Ethics and Human Rights

This webinar will explore how law, history and policy have shaped the inclusiveness of birth registration in South Africa, Brazil and Uganda; how the design and implementation of digitized voter registration systems in Cameroon can both be a force for inclusive and mechanism of exclusion; and how the accessibility of population register systems varies for different vulnerable subpopulations. 

6TH REGIONAL CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF PLANNING AND STATISTICS (HOPS 6)

The Heads of Planning and Statistics (HOPS) brings together the most senior officials responsible for the production and use of statistics at national levels around the Pacific region. HOPS provides a regular institutional interface between National Statistics Offices (NSOs), senior national planning and policy analysts, development partners and SPC to build and sustain collaborative relationships which are crucial to the successful implementation of the Strategic Framework for Pacific Statistics Strategy.
