As we are reaching the end of the CRVS Decade (2015-2024) in 2024, countries will be asked to submit their questionnaire responses to ESCAP and provide updates on country progress toward meeting their nationally-set targets in accordance with the Regional Action Framework on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific. ESCAP worked closely with the Regional Steering Group for CRVS in Asia and the Pacific to develop the questionnaire for the 2025 review of progress in implementing the Regional Action Framework on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific. The questionnaire was sent to National CRVS Focal Points in June 2024. The focal points will be responsible for collecting the necessary information and reporting back to ESCAP.
To help countries complete their questionnaires, ESCAP will be organising webinars and add further information on this website. If countries have any more questions about their reporting, they can also reach out to [email protected].
Similar to the baseline, regional synthesis report, and midterm, regional synthesis report, ESCAP will use the information collected to produce a 2025 review report to measure progress in implementing the Regional Action Framework, celebrate the CRVS achievements in the region, as well as highlight existing challenges for a potential extension of the Decade.
The 2025 review report will also guide the preparations for the Third Ministerial Conference on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific to be held from 24 to 26 June 2025.
