WHO publishes International Guidelines for classifying COVID-19 as a cause of death

With the explicit goal of helping countries accurately identify deaths from the novel coronavirus in a uniform manner, the WHO recently published the International Guidelines for Certification and Classification (Coding) of COVID-19 as Cause of Death. The document was released on 16 April.
