With the support of Statistics Denmark, the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam worked on implementing a first prototype version of the future Vietnamese student register. The register is based on external micro data linked to the Vietnamese national ID system. The first implementation included development of supporting registers and design of data transmission format, as well as coding in R for data cleaning, data integration and basic test indicators.
