The first consultative meeting of Evidence to Action (E2A) was held by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), with technical support from ESCAP, and supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies Data for Health Initiative
The attendees of the workshop consisted of a core group of CRVS knowledge producers and users in Bangladesh including representatives from the national statistics office. Discussion revolved around supporting evidence to inform policy outcomes to improve the availability, accessibility, and use of existing CRVS and other official demographic statistics available in Bangladesh. Participants also shared their experiences with the E2A cycle and offered opinions on how it can be improved nationally.
