The first cohort of the CRVS applied research training (CART) initiative launched

The first cohort of the CRVS applied research training (CART) initiative has launched with 38 participants from Asia-Pacific and Africa. The training will support participants in translating their initial ideas into a high-quality research paper as the initiative focuses on enhancing CRVS systems through supporting applied research on strategies, interventions, and tools for civil registration systems. 

The training started with self-paced eLearning modules and a live webinar to welcome participants. A series of office hours, Ask the Experts sessions and mentorship are offered to accompany the participants in their learning journey. Face-to-face workshops are planned in 2024 and 2025.
