The Asia-Pacific Migration Report 2024 underscores the vital role of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) systems in enabling safe, orderly, and regular migration across the region. It stresses the importance of accurate and accessible CRVS data to support various migration-related policies and services.

The report also acknowledges the challenges many countries face in enhancing their CRVS systems, such as limited resources, lack of capacity, and inadequate infrastructure.
