The report seeks to provide a picture of the Lao PDR’s civil registration completeness and the associated inequalities, that lay out possible key drivers behind the low birth registration.
The inequality assessment project seeks to provide technical support and capacity strengthening to the Samoa Bureau of Statistics and other relevant national stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of CRVS inequality assessments using secondary data sources in Samoa.
The first national capacity building workshop on implementing CRVS inequality assessments and strengthening demographic capacity in Samoa, took place from 5 to 6 June 2023, in Apia, Samoa.

This Technical Guidance for Strengthening the Vital Statistics Production Process: Implementing the Vital Statistics Business Process Model for the production and dissemination of vital statistics from civil registration, hereafter referred to as the “Technical Guidance”, provides a step-by-step guide to improve or build a vital statistics system from the data collected in the civil registration system.
