Event Details
Civil society and non-governmental organizations play a critical role in engaging with communities including in raising awareness of the importance of civil registration amongst populations. CSOs can also advocate for efficient CRVS systems to decision-makers, support the implementation of civil registration, increasing the responsiveness and accountability of responsible stakeholders, and in ensuring universal, inclusive and timely civil registration.
A CSO Consultation will be held in Indonesia on 21 January 2025, gathering CSOs and other key stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities related to CRVS in Indonesia.
The consultation aims to provide a platform for open dialogue, enabling participants to share their experiences, challenges and recommendations feeding into the regional forum for civil society organizations planned for 4-6 March 2025.
