ICAO New Technology Working Group (NTWG) meeting discusses critical standards for travel documents and ID technologies

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) hosted a meeting for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) New Technology Working Group (NTWG) in Copenhagen, Denmark during 16 - 20 September 2024.

With over 50 experts from 21 countries and international organizations, participants engaged in dialogues on issues such as critical standards for government-issued travel documents and ID technologies worldwide and improvement for the issuance and acceptance of Convention Travel Documents (CTDs) for refugees.
