Two-Day Inception Workshop / Orientation Training 

Project on Strengthening the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System in Jharkhand, India

UNICEF and ESCAP are jointly extending technical support to the Government of Jharkhand to strengthen the State's Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) system within a structured, time-bound project. This project employs the CRVS Systems Improvement Framework (herein referred to as the Framework), a globally endorsed methodology that emphasizes a sustainable, system-wide approach to system strengthening, rather than short-term solutions.

The overall objective is to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Framework, enabling them to identify key challenges within the CRVS system from both client and service provider perspectives, and to establish a solid foundation for continued efforts in system enhancement and re-design.
