Vital Strategies and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) are organizing a Workshop on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Business Process Improvement (BPI), to be held on 6 to 8 April 2020 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand The workshop will provide participants with an introduction to the CRVS Improvement Framework and guide country specific teams to apply the first stage of the tool through a hands-on, practical approach towards optimization of a country specific CRVS process. Participants will finish the course with a clear plan of action to apply the first stage of the CRVS Improvement Framework towards CRVS business process improvement in their respective countries. The workshop will be facilitated by world-leading experts of BPI for CRVS systems who can share international recommendations and best practices, as well as experiences from other countries.
