The Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN), together with the Ministry of Health and Sports (Myanmar), World Health Organization (WHO), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Norwegian Agency for Development cooperation (NORAD) and other development partners welcomes all participants to our Digital Health Conference and 5th AeHIN General Meeting 2017: Achieving the SDG’s with ICT at Nay Pyi Taw the capital city of Myanmar from March 6 to 10, 2017.
This conference brings together government, non-government, profit and non-profit private sector, and development partners, to promote inter-sectoral collaboration towards taking together to elevate their capacity to harness ICT in achieving the health and health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 5th General Meeting will be an occasion to consolidate strengths in capacity already established by AeHIN (e.g. IT governance, enterprise architecture, interoperability labs) and direct them towards health SDG measurement and accountability readiness, regional interoperability, and country HIS and eHealth strengthening. The goal is to use the strength of the network to achieve these objectives and to maximize the peer-learning approach to capacity-building.
