Event Details
Resilience has been identified as a key priority for the next phase of the CRVS Decade in Asia and the Pacific. During the 3rd Ministerial Conference on CRVS, it was identified as essential for safeguarding CRVS systems against shocks and long-term risks. However, the concept of resilience, although widely understood, can be challenging to put into practice.
This Stats Café will explore what CRVS resilience means in theory and in action. The session will feature insights from the authors of the foundational CRVS resilience framework, highlights from a recent UNICEF report applying this framework, and a country case study showcasing practical approaches to managing systemic risk. Join us to gain a clearer understanding of resilience and practical ideas for strengthening national CRVS systems.
Time: 14 Oct 2025, 13:00 - 14:00, Bangkok time (UTC+7).
