The Ministerial Declaration on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific emphasizes the need to address CRVS inequalities among hard-to-reach and marginalized populations, promoting universality and equity in civil registration regardless of factors such as gender, religion, or ethnicity. Countries are encouraged to conduct assessments to assess where such inequalities may exist.

The associated events on "Sub-regional and Sectoral Forums" will be held on 23 June 2025, prior to the Third Ministerial Conference on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in Asia and the Pacific (24–26 June 2025). Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) and Office of the Registrar General, Birth and Death Registration (ORG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for data exchanges.
