(Newsletter: CRVS Insight May (2) 2020)

The Centre of Excellence for CRVS Systems will launch a new online "Directory of Experts" in June 2020. Key functionalities will include searchable and filterable profiles of the Directory members, direct communication between users and members, as well as the ability for members to manage/update their profiles. Organisations working in the field of CRVS can also create accounts, which will allow them to circulate announcements, job postings, information, news to relevant members.

Who is the new Directory for? Governments and organizations can use the Directory to: Search for vetted experts to support their CRVS initiatives; Post jobs and calls for proposals, and share research, news items, and more; Discover CRVS knowledge, resources, news, events, and training; Connect to experts and peers. Professionals and experts can also use the Directory to hear about opportunities in CRVS such as: Consultancies; Research projects; Need for technical services; and Capacity Strengthening projects.

This updated online platform will provide a more dynamic, inclusive, and user-friendly space for the global CRVS community to share knowledge, expertise, and support. A short promotional video can be viewed here.

Finally, as part of the new directory platform, the Centre is considering providing e-learning opportunities for members. Below is a link to a short survey to share your e-learning experiences and preferences. This survey will take about 3 minutes to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2BX2VGY.
