The consultation of evidence to action (E2A) workshop to be held in Bangladesh on 11-12 July 2023 (Total three hours).
The Fiji evidence to action (E2A) workshop was held in Fiji on 21 June 2023.
It presented an opportunity to CRVS stakeholders to share experiences with the evidence to action cycle and offer opinions on how it can be improved nationally. Representatives from the national statistics office, national focal points for CRVS, ministries of Health and Justice and other key users of CRVS data gathered to discuss needs, gaps and priorities in the context of using evidence to inform policy outcomes. The workshop was hosted by the Fiji bureau of Statistics and organized by ESCAP.
ESCAP has been providing technical assistance to its members and associate members in the implementation of the Regional Action Framework on CRVS in Asia and the Pacific adopted by governments of the region in conjunction with the Ministerial Declaration to “Get Every One in the Picture” and the Asian and Pacific Civil Registration and Vi
The third CR8 meeting was jointly organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia (UNICEF-ROSA), and hosted by the Office of the Registrar General, Local Government Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, from 6 to 8 June 2023 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
